Who ever said anything about smashing cars up to create damage models ingame? The damage models on games are nothing near realistic, there's simply too much computation to do realtime.
The excuse is that some manufacturers simply don't want consumers to see their cars smashed up in games.
BTW, yes forza has a damage model, but you still can't roll the cars :-\
I use it on my Vista install and enjoy it. The new library management is great. Most of my tracks are downloaded from napster, so I need to use Windows Media Player, which is fine, because I prefer it to anything else I've used, it syncs with my MP3 player beautifully too. I haven't gotten around to installing WMP11 on my XP install yet, but I will in the not too far distant future
Well if you want to pay $200, go get a Logitech Driving Force Pro, you can find them anywhere, even Wal-Mart, they rotate 900 degrees, have 16 buttons, plus a shifter, and feel really good, no clutch though. You should be able to pick one up for around $120CDN
it's against the license agreement to put your copy of S2 on another person's computer and leave it there, unlocked. Having LFS on two of your own computers is perfectly legal.
As to your suggestions for car performance, I agree with them wholeheartedly, but IMO they should stay in their own thread. I don't think anyone is flaming your suggestions, just the fact that they're not 100% related to this topic...
Deer in Minnesota are serious business too. They are by far the deadliest animal in Minnesota and Wisconsin, IIRC, they cause more deaths than all other wildlife combined...
I've never personally hit one, but I've them get hit, and seen the aftermath. I missed a buck by less than a foot, and that's as close as I ever want to get
